UNAIDS announces the recruitment of a National Consultant to collect data on Universal Access of People Living with HIV to HIV/AIDS Prevention, Treatment, Care and Support, divide, calculate and introduce Data in the Universal Access form. 


Every 4th person in Moldova felt discriminated last year

In the Republic of Moldova the most discriminated are persons with mental and physicaldisabilities. It is the conclusion of a study – “Perceptions of population from the Republic of Moldova regarding the phenomenon of discrimination”, launched on Wednesday, February 23. The same research found that the majority of people avoid going to the clinic, getting out in the street, addressing to police or mayor because they are afraid to be discriminated.


Recruitment of Translator/ Interpreter for UNAIDS Moldova

The National Strategy Application (NSA) is a new funding approach from the Global Fund. It was designed to further facilitate alignment of Global Fund financing with country priorities within the framework of a country’s national strategy – such as the national HIV/AIDS, tuberculosis or malaria strategy. The NSA approach aims to further enable the Global Fund to finance the implementation of comprehensive, technically sound strategies in a way that is aligned with national processes and timelines.


Recruitment of two National Consultants to assist the National AIDS Centre in data collection and compilation of draft report on Universal Access in the Republic of Moldova and Transnistria region

Two consultants shall be recruited to prepare a country reporting draft for the Universal Access Initiative in scaling Up Treatment, Prevention and Care for people living with HIV/AIDS.


Recruitment of an international consultant to perform data analyses within the process of “Data triangulation and analysis in Moldova for public health actions”

One international consultant shall be recruited to guide two national consultants with the overall goal to perform the analysis of data related to Investigation Questions endorsed by stakeholders for data triangulation. This process is of utmost importance due to the fact that triangulation is a powerful technique that facilitates validation of data through cross verification from more than two sources thus increasing the credibility and validity of the results.


Recruitment of a consultant to coordinate the comprehensive needs assessment on linkages between gender and HIV/AIDS and determinants of the feminization of the epidemic throughout all stages

The UNAIDS Moldova in collaboration with the Tiraspol AIDS Center intends to conduct a research targeting to assess women and girls' vulnerability to HIV/AIDS in Transnistria region. In order to ensure comparativeness of data to be collected via the survey in the Transnistria region, with a similar survey carried out on the right bank in late 2009, and to strengthen capacities of the local sociological company, a consultant shall be recruited, tasked with the overall oversight and quality supervision.


Recruitment of a Team of National Consultants for the National Strategy Application to the Global Fund to Combat HIV/AIDS and Malaria

Recruitment of Team of National Consultants Development of Operational Plans and Estimation of Costs under the Moldova National Programme on Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS 2011-2015

National AIDS Centre has submitted a request for Technical and Financial Assistance to support a group of 7 specialists to develop the Operational Plans and estimate the costs of the budget for the 5 year cycle of the National Programme on Prevention and Control on HIV/AIDS and STIs for 2011-2015.


Recruitment of a consultant to facilitate the process of negotiation with stakeholders in order to introduce an optional distant learning course

The national consultant will be recruited for a short-term consultancy with the overall goal to facilitate the process of developing and implementing the curricula in schools. The consultant will be responsible checking the information contained in the course with the education, moral and religious norms in order to facilitate the development of the course and its implementation in school curricula as an optional course. 


Recruitment of two consultants for UNAIDS Moldova to facilitate the process of introduction of a distant learning course for youth based on the school curricula

The national consultants will be recruited for a short-term consultancy with the overall goal to facilitate the process of developing and implementing the curricula in schools. The consultants will be responsible for organization of meetings and workshops in order to facilitate the development of the course and to verify the compliance of the school curricula with the international guidelines on HIV prevention and health education. 


Recruitment of a National Consultant on Communication for Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration

The “Building Institutional Capacity of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration” project has the overall objective of strengthening the institutional capacity of the MFAEI so that it can exercise its functions in a more efficient manner, operate transparently and fulfil its European Integration commitments.
