The Black Sea Trust Grants

The Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation invites proposals from organizations and institutions in the countries of the Wider Black Sea Region on the Trust’s three programs: civic participation, cross-border initiatives, and Eastern Links.The Black Sea Trust operates with a small, skilled staff with extensive experience in the region. BST grantmaking is overseen by an Advisory Board with representatives from every BST-supported country, as well as from the BST founding partners.

Recruitment of an IT specialist for developing of a distant learning course for youth based on the school curricula

An IT specialist will be recruited for a long-term period with the overall goal to develop the course on internet, CD and mobile based. The IT specialist will be responsible for adjustment of the approved curricula to the open source software package Moodles, develop the design of the site and the security system of this project, after the implementation of the project to monitor the statistic situation of exploring this course by students.


Recruitment of a team of Consultants for Development of Operational Plans and Estimation of Costs under the Moldova National Programme on Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS 2011-2015

The Republic of Moldova has completed the final stages of a strategic planning process and have developed a set of activities for a number of years. Based on the new concept of the Global Fund the country is planning to apply for financing under the National Strategy Financing mechanism which will require from the Government of Moldova development of a series of documents such as operational plans with cost estimations linked to targets.

An American who has lived thirty years with HIV received an award for fighting AIDS

Eric Sawyer is the first recipient of the AIDS activism award given by Housing Works, an organization he cofounded in 1994. In 2011, he marks 30 years of surviving HIV while fighting for the lives of others. Below is his interview with POZ, in which he talks about life with HIV, his past work and future plans.

Case won in the Supreme Court on a case of a foreign person living with HIV in the Republic of Moldova

On December 22nd, 2010, the Supreme Court of Justice gave in favor of an HIV infected immigrant living in Republic of Moldova, and obliged the Bureau of Migration and Asylum to issue, on his name, a certificate of immigrant.

Ms.S.N., a 28 years old foreign citizen, married to Mr.G.V., a Moldovan citizen in 2005. Both of them are living in Republic of Moldova and have a minor child.
