In order to improve the routine statistics data, with the support of the World Bank, the GFTAM and UNAIDS, a new software was developed to provide a data base on peopletested for HIV/AIDS, based on manual records of laboratories all over the country. In this context, there is a need special forms based on Epi info software, to improve the process of monitoring and reporting of people tested for HIV.

The scope of the Consultancy will be to ensure retroactive data entry starting with 1987 to end of 2010 of the patients from official hardcopy registers into the National electronic database SIME HIV for the ARV Module for the treatment sites of Chisinau, Balti, Tiraspol and Cahul. Each site will be provided with a National Consultant totalling 4.
The consultant is expected to produce an Outcome Evaluation Report that highlights the findings, recommendations and lessons learnt, and give a rating of performance. This report should follow the Report Template and include all sections recommended there in good knowledge of tools and methodologies currently in use in the country for collecting this type of financial data.
Recruitment of translator for Questionnaires of BSS 2009
RST is currently undertaking a documentation exercise of regional experience conducting BSS, documenting both process and results. In this context, the BSS questionnaires need to be translated into English to allow the consultant to work with the survey database. A translator shall be recruited to translate the Questionnaires from Romanian and Russian to English.
