CALL FOR PROPOSALS

OHCHR has initiated this call for proposals to provide financial support to a grassroots organisation that supports people living with HIV and works to combat stigma and discrimination in the context of national responses to AIDS. Organizations whose work is consistent with the mentioned priorities are encouraged to submit a concept note and budget proposal using the format provided. 


Turning the tide: not without prisons!

On the margins of the Washington XIX International AIDS Conference, UNODC held a session entitled "Turning the Tide: Not Without Prisons", to underline the urgency of developing national AIDS responses that include people in prisons.


Recruitment of a Trainer for data collection team for BSS

The objectives of the survey are to determine the knowledge on HIV, risky behaviours related to HIV and health seeking behaviours in the target groups’ representatives, as well as to use the survey as an entry point for health service provision to these marginalized and hard-to-reach populations, serving also as an additional incentive for enrolling voulnerable groups in the survey.

A coordinator for conducting BSS 2012 among IDUs on the Left Bank (Tiraspol and Ribnita sites) shall be recruited in order to ensure a proper coordination of BSS activities in this region.


Recruitment of a Qualitative Survey Coordinator for BSS

The UNAIDS Moldova in collaboration with the National Centre of Health Management, Monitoring and Evaluation of National Health Programmes intends to conduct HIV Sentinel surveillance in voulnerable groups voulnerable groups through a quantitative study with linked anonymous testing to HIV, VHC and VHB, to provide the strategic information on trends and current behaviors and risks needed to guide planning.


Recruitment of a Statistician for elaborating the survey methodology for BSS

The survey envisaged has the objective to gather strategic information regarding risk factors conducive to transmission of HIV, Hepatitis and STIs in voulnerable groups and evaluate HIV response interventions in the respective target group for a better advocacy, planning, and design of future prevention programs.
