Youth project concept for Moldova

UNESCO Office in Moscow call the organizations to submit proposals for providing services to implement a complex project, directed to strengthen the potential of youth and student organizations for HIV prevention among key population groups, predisposed to HIV and to prevent stigma and discrimination against HIV affected people.


World AIDS Day, 2010 – „Red Ribbon” Award

The red ribbon is a global symbol of the movement against AIDS. Red Ribbon Award is designed to honor and celebrate the extraordinary initiatives of individuals and communities who show involvement and leadership in reducing the spread and impact of AIDS at the national level.

To mark World AIDS Day (December 1), United Nations Joint Programme on HIV / AIDS (UNAIDS) in Moldova, supported by the UN Joint Team on HIV / AIDS and World AIDS Campaign (WAC) in Moldova will organize a contest for the best and valuable initiatives by individuals and organizations in the national response to HIV / AIDS.
