The Joint United Nations Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS) announces a Call for Proposals with the purpose to organize awareness events related to World AIDS Day in the Republic of Moldova and the fourth ceremony of the Red Ribbon Award event till the end of 2012.

Every year on the third Sunday of May, worldwide is marked International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day. The United Nations in the Republic of Moldova launched today the 8th edition of the competition for the best action to promote and protect human rights. The competition, organized each year, aims to highlight and award the most valuable initiatives and actions by civil society organizations and journalists to protect and promote human rights in Moldova.
Based on the collaboration agreement of 07.07.2011 between UNAIDS and Ministry of Education it was decided to adjust a distant learning course for youth to the open software package Moodle and to launch it on internet, DVD and mobile base.
Thus, it is necessary to subcontract a company to multiply the DVDs, during the fact that there are 1489 schools.
