IT Support for UNAIDS Office in Moldova
UNAIDS launched a contest to recruit an IT Specialist to provide essential day to day IT support for the UNAIDS Office in Chisinau, Moldova.

Workshop "HIV policies and services in prisons of Moldova"
National partners active in the field of HIV services in the Republic of Moldova, both in the community and in prisons had the chance to elaborate on strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks during a national workshop entitled "Policies and HIV services in prisons of Moldova". The event was organized by the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC), Moldova project office,in partnership with the Department of Penitentiary Institutions (DPI)/Ministry of Justice.
International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day
Every year on the third Sunday of May, worldwide is marked International AIDS Candlelight Memorial Day. The purpose of this day is to commemorate people who have died from AIDS, and to attract, once again, the attention of the whole society on this public health priority issue and to launch a call for solidarity with those more then 7000 HIV infected persons in Moldova.
This year’s International Day of Families highlights the need for work-family balance. The aim is to help workers everywhere provide for their families financially and emotionally, while also contributing to the socio-economic development of their societies.
Network “Positive Initiative” in partnership with Ministry of Health of Republic of Moldova, Ministry of Youth and Sport and Ministry, Health and Ministry of Internal Affaires announces the launch of the national campaign “Auto rally For Life” supported by the United Nations Agency for Drugs and Crime (UNODC), PAS Center (the project financed by the Global Fund), United Nations Joint Programme on HIV/AIDS (UNAIDS), World Health Organization (WHO) and the Soros Foundation Moldova.
The United Nations in the Republic of Moldova launched today the 8th edition of the competition for the best action to promote and protect human rights. The competition, organized each year, aims to highlight and award the most valuable initiatives and actions by civil society organizations and journalists to protect and promote human rights in Moldova.
RFQ: Multiplication of DVDs and Printing of Booklets
Based on the collaboration agreement of 07.07.2011 between UNAIDS and Ministry of Education it was decided to adjust a distant learning course for youth to the open software package Moodle and to launch it on internet, DVD and mobile base.
Thus, it is necessary to subcontract a company to multiply the DVDs, during the fact that there are 1489 schools.
