Zero Discrimination Day has been observed every 1 March since its creation in 2014.

Discrimination continues to undermine efforts to achieve a more just and equitable world. Zero Discrimination Day is an opportunity to highlight how everyone can be part of the transformation and take a stand towards a more fair and just society.

Zero Discrimination Day brings together everyone who wants to challenge discrimination, wherever it occurs.

ABOUT THE #ZERODISCRIMINATION CAMPAIGN

On Zero Discrimination Day, UNAIDS is highlighting the right of everyone to be free from discrimination.

No one should ever be discriminated against because of their HIV status, age, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, race, ethnicity, language, geographical location or migrant status, or for any other reason. Unfortunately, however, discrimination continues to undermine efforts to achieve a more just and equitable world. People face discrimination every day based on who they are or what they do.

People will be invited to take a quiz to test how much they know about discrimination. They will then be asked to share the results of their test on their social media platforms and share the quiz with friends and family. The idea is to inform the public about discrimination and spread the knowledge as far as possible.
