Trainings on Human rights, Non-discrimination, Confidentiality and Compensation for Non-pecuniary Damages regarding people living with HIV

Institute for Human Rights in Moldova organizes during the period of September 10-25, 2010 two workshops of two days each to train the participants on HIV and AIDS, human rights, nondiscrimination, respect of confidentiality and compensation for non-pecuniary damages of the people living with HIV (PLHIV).

The events will be facilitated by Mrs Nicoleta Tatiana Popescu, ECHR international expert, specialized lawyer, trainer at the National Institute of Magistrates from Bucharest, Romania and are organized within the Project “Reducing HIV-related burden in the Republic of Moldova” under the Global Fund Round 8 Grant, which was launched in January 2010 and it is implemented by the Institute for Human Rights in Moldova.

The Project is going to scale-up comprehensive care and support to PLWH by building on and expanding existing programs and services, and introducing innovative approaches that are consistent with client centered modelsof care and support.
