The idea is to revise the curricular of Law schools to reflect HIV and human rights protection of people living with HIV/AIDS and of vulnerable groups. The activity is carried out within the Project “Reduction of HIV-related Burden in the Republic of Moldova”, financially supported by the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, Round VIII.

Institute for Human Rights from Moldova developed the draft Concept of the Guidelines on Promotion and Protection of People Living with HIV/AIDS for lawyers, attorneys, members of specialized NGO and people living with HIV. In order to revise the curricular of Law schools to reflect HIV and human rights protection of people living with HIV/AIDS and vulnerable groups, on April 15 was signed a Cooperation Agreement between Moldovan Institute for Human Rights (IDOM) and the Law Faculty of the State University of Moldova. According to the above-mentioned, the Parties agreed to cooperate in introducing in the University curricula of a separate course or of several hours within certain fields of studies on different subjects.
