Detailed Description of Key Areas
Legislative/normative framework in social area
- Support to development of proposals and strategies of sectarian national programmes in social protection area as National Programme on Prevention and Control of HIV/AIDS as well as improvement and elaboration of proposals for new normative acts;
- Support to elaboration of grant proposal to be submitted to external donors or agencies.
Capacity strengthening of personnel working in social protection system
- Training of community social assistance in area of HIV/AIDS;
- Training of multidisciplinary teams in providing assistance and referring to social services of people living with HIV/AIDS;
- Training of professional parental assistants, potential people who would adopt and parents who adopted, in taking care of children living with HIV/AIDS;
- Development of the module within the specialized curricula and guidelines for social assistants in area of HIV/AIDS.
Social assistance/protection
- Determination of the criteria on identifying beneficiaries, levels and groups of beneficiaries;
- Development of rehabilitation, palliative care and placing services;
- Identification of problems in social area.
Monitoring and evaluation
- Monitoring and evaluation of the situation in area of HIV/AIDS, with special focus on social protection;
- Implementation of the Plan on Social Protection according to the grant proposal, supported within Round VIII of the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria.
