The awareness campaing "HIV is not a sentence" will be launched through a press conference. The campaign is dedicated to the commemoration of those who died of HIV, which is being celebrated and is culminating on the 17th of May. The awareness campaing will be implemented on both banks of Nistru river.

It is planned to have on the agenda the speaches of the Minister of Health, Deputy Minister of Labour, Social Protection and Family, UN Resident Coordinator and the representative of People living with HIV.

The main piece of news of the campaign is that there are several persons living with the disease who opened publicly their status, to inform the society HIV is not a sentence and people living with HIV have a normal life. They will be present at the press conference.

The campaign is co-sustained financially through the joint project on human rights and HIV in Transnsitrian region (Sweden Government).
