Materials for World AIDS Day 2014

The World AIDS Day 2014 campaign – Close the gap provides a number of materials you can use for national or regional activities on World AIDS Day 2014. Logos, banners, infographics, photos, messages, a brochure, a fact sheet, a press release template and a social media pack are all available on the campaign website. You will be able to download the products in French, Russian and Spanish early next week.

The concept is flexible and you can pick from a series of pre-formed messages the ones that best suit your country, region and epidemic. Close the HIV treatment gap, close the gap– zero new HIV infections, and close the gap–full respect for human rights are three examples. You can also adapt the campaign to the local context and priorities and create your own photos and messages. Feel free to be creative. And please do share with us your plans for the campaign and events to commemorate World AIDS Day 2014.

World AIDS Day, marked every year on 1 December, gives us an opportunity to harness the power of social change and put people first and close the gap to HIV prevention, treatment care and support services. Closing the gap also means ensuring that cities and countries are not left behind.
