Care about Care: An online moderated course on Care Economy

The UN Women Training Centre is proud to launch: “Why We Care about Care: An online moderated course on Care Economy”.
                               

The course aims to provide a global perspective on Care. It will enhance awareness, knowledge and understanding on the critical place Care occupies in development, while simultaneously providing skills and tools for analyzing and identifying types of interventions and policies for a fair and equal social organization of Care to advance human development, gender equality and women's empowerment.

 

The course will be moderated by an expert on the topic: 

• Dr. Amaia Pérez Orozco, PhD in International Economics and Development, 

 

And will include lectures delivered by global experts including:

• Dr. Valeria Esquivel, Research Coordinator on Gender & Development, UNRISD (En & Sp)

• Dr. Francisco Cos-Montiel, Policy Advisor on Economic Empowerment, UN Women (En & Sp)

• Dr. Shahrashoub Razavi, Chief of Research and Data Section, UN Women (En)

• Dr. Jeanine Anderson, Professor and Anthropologist, Pontifical Catholic University in Peru (En & Sp)

• Dr. Karina Batthyany, Professor, Universidad de la República de Uruguay (Sp)

• Dr. Corina Rodriguez Enriquez, Economist, Interdisciplinary Research Centre on Public Policies (Sp)
