This year marks the 30th anniversary of the first World AIDS Day. Thirty years of activism and solidarity under the banner of World AIDS Day. Thirty years of campaigning for universal access to life-saving services to treat and prevent HIV. But after 30 years, AIDS is still not over. We have miles to go.

A fost lansată prima aplicație on-line de testare HIV

La 29 noiembrie, curent, a fost lansată campania de informare dedicată Zilei Mondiale de Combatere a HIV și SIDA „Te privește! Privește pe fiecare!” cu sloganul „Cunoaște-ți statutul HIV!”. Campania își propune să atragă atenția populației asupra importanței şi necesității de testare, în condițiile în care se estimează că jumătate din persoanele ce trăiesc cu HIV nu îşi cunosc statutul. 

Campania socială: „Te privește! Privește pe fiecare!” Lansarea primei aplicații on-line de testare HIV și a Studiului „Indexul Stigma” realizat de persoanele ce trăiesc cu HIV

Pe1 decembrie este marcată Ziua Mondială de Combatere a SIDA. În acest an,  comunitatea globală marchează progresele de 30 ani în combaterea HIV. Mesajul lansat de UNAIDS la nivel mondial promovează  importanța și necesitatea testării la HIV. În perioada 25 noiembrie – 10 decembrie 2018, în Republica Moldova se va desfășura campania socială „Te privește! Privește pe fiecare!”, cu sloganul: „Cunoaște-ți statutul HIV!”. 

UN Human Rights Senior Expert Thomas Hammarberg visits Moldova on 28 May - 1 June 2018

From May 28 to June 1, 2018, the UN Human Rights Senior Expert, Thomas Hammarberg is in Moldova as a follow on to three fact-finding missions that he conducted in 2012 and to assess the implementation of recommendations he made in 2013 that were meant to improve the human rights situation in the Transnistrian region. Following his previous missions, Thomas Hammarberg had developed an independent report encompassing facts and recommendations to improve the human rights situation on the left bank of the river Nistru.

UNAIDS calls for strengthened partnerships to leave no one behind

On the International Day against Homophobia, Transphobia and Biphobia (IDAHOT), UNAIDS is calling for strengthened partnerships to support lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex (LGBTI) people and their families living with or affected by HIV or facing discrimination. 

UNAIDS World Cup for Ending AIDS and Discrimination kicks off in Russia

Russian and international football legends and Russian players living with HIV joined forces on 17 April to play the first football match of the UNAIDS World Cup for Ending AIDS and Discrimination. International and national football stars draw attention to the stigma faced by people living with HIV and demonstrated the value of goodwill, solidarity, and human values towards ending stigma and discrimination.

Vizita Consilierului Special al Programului Comun al Națiunilor Unite privind HIV/SIDA (UNAIDS) pentru Europa de Est și Asia Centrală în Republica Moldova în perioada 26-29 martie 2018

În timpul vizitei sale în Moldova, în perioada 26-29 martie, curent, Consilierul Special al UNAIDS, planifică să discute despre următorii pași ai țării către sustenabilitate și responsabilitate națională a răspunsurilor la HIV și TBC și despre majorarea investițiilor interne în timp ce finanțarea internațională (Fondul Global) scade.

UNAIDS calls for bold action to end TB and AIDS

Ahead of World TB Day 2018, UNAIDS is calling on all partners to take unprecedented and bold action to advance efforts to end tuberculosis (TB) and AIDS by 2030.

Recruitment of a consultant to organize and facilitate trainings for medical staff on new clinical protocols and testing guidelines on HIV

In 2017, Moldova passed through the process of reviewing and adjusting the national 5 clinical ARV protocols (adults, adolescents, pregnant, prep and pep) and national testing guidelines according to the latest WHO recommendations to allow the alignment of Moldova to 90-90-90 strategy. The protocols have been approved by the Ministry of Health in February 2018. In order to ensure a smooth and correct implementation of the new protocols, a set of trainings for medical staff from all the rayons of the country should be provided.


Zero Discrimination Day has been observed every 1 March since its creation in 2014.

Discrimination continues to undermine efforts to achieve a more just and equitable world. Zero Discrimination Day is an opportunity to highlight how everyone can be part of the transformation and take a stand towards a more fair and just society.

UNAIDS Moldova launches a Request for Quotation for Logistics and accommodation for the organization of a series of events

Logistics and accommodation for the organization of a series of events (four trainings for two-days, eight trainings for one day and a workshop for one day) for medical staff within the implementation of the project “Joint Action to Strengthen Human Rights in the Transnistrian Region of the Republic of Moldova” funded by the Sweden Government.
