Decisions

  1. The information on the National Coordination Council on TB/AIDS was presented and participants agreed upon it.
  2. Ministry of Health jointly with the NCC TB/AIDS Secretariat will develop and submit to the Government, according to the procedures in place, the amendments to the Government Decision no 825 as of August 3, 2005, on "Establishment of the National Coordination Council of the National Prevention and Control Tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS/STI Programmes".
  3. The request to support the National Coordination Council TB/AIDS was accepted. Unit for Coordination, Implementation and Monitoring of the Project on Health System Restructuring, jointly with the Secretariat of the NCC TB/AIDS, will ensure, according to deadlines, the submission of the set of documents to the Secretariat of the Global Fund.
  4. Technical Working Groups, senior experts of the Ministry of Health, jointly with the Principal Recipients (Unit for Coordination, Implementation and Monitoring of the Project on Health System Restructuring and Centre for Health Policies and Analyses) will:
    • review and adjust the TB application for Round IX according to the questions (objections) of the Global Fund Secretariat;
    • review the provisions of the new Global Fund Round (round IX) and will submit to the National Coordination Council coordinated proposals for the development of the application on behalf of the country.
