The World AIDS Campaign (WAC) in collaboration with the Global Network of PLHIV (GNP+) has initiated a project in Moldova that focuses on evidence-based advocacy and campaigns. Following a series of meetings with key stakeholders in the HIV response in Moldova, the project is now entering a new and exciting stage that requires partnership with a local organization that can take the lead in driving the campaign forward.

International Day against Drug Use and Illicit Trafficking is marked annually as of June 26 and this year slogan is „Think Health, Not Drugs".
As we prepare for this September’s United Nations Summit on the Millennium Development Goals, we must recognize the major impediment to development posed by drug abuse and illicit trafficking. As this year’s theme stresses, it is time to “Think Health, Not Drugs”.
Training for Harm Reduction Programmes Managers

Harm Reduction Programmes coordinators from Moldova met during the period of June 15-17, current year, to discuss the realization of the standards for programmes implemented in accordance with the provisions of the Harm Reduction Strategy. The standards have been approved by the Ministry of Health in June 2009.
On 8 June 2010 the Institute for Human Rights in Moldova (IDOM), in partnership with Association “New Life” and Civic Center “Pas cu Pas” from Cahul district, organized in the premises of the City of Cahul a round table entitled “Reducing HIV-related Burden in the Republic of Moldova”.
